Museum
- Hardangervidda National Park Centre:
Open every day during the period 1 July until 30 September, from 10.00 - 18.00.
- Vemork (industrial worker's) Museum:
a powerplant museum and exhibitions about the industrial worker. It is open every day dring the period 1. May until 30 September.
- Tinn museum:
an open-air folk museum with buildings and household items dating from the 16th century up to the advent of industrialisation in the 20th century.- Selstali Alpine Pasture Farm:
at the foot of Gaustatoppen mountain, has cows and calves for you to meet, troutfishing in the lakes around the farm. you can aslo watch how cheese was made in the old days here. Open during the period 24 June til 10 September.- Haugen Treindustri:
this is a modern company at the head of Tessungdalen valley, founded in 1941. The factory is the only one in the country to make wooden spoons and other kitchen equipment. The factory outlet is open Monday - Friday all year.- Mår Power Station:
Mår Power Station currently has 5 generators in operation. It also has the longest wooden stairs in the world, with almost 4,000 steps, deep inside the mountain. The power station is open for guided tours during the period 25 Juni til 17. August at 10.00 and 14.00, except Saturdays and Sundays.
- Rauland Art museum:
collections of Dyre Vaa and Knut Skinnarland, both well known sculptors. The collection contains sculptures, paintings and drawings.Open every day 11-18, during the periode 20. June til 1. September.
- Vinjestoga:
Vinje-stoga is the childhood home of the famous poet, Aasmund Olavsson Vinje. It is a typical example of a mid-19th century Telemark cottage. Open every day during the period 23. Juni til 11. August from 11.00 - 18.00.
Exhibitons:
- Tinn Arts & Crafts Centre:
The exhibition has moren than 100 exhibitors ranging from handicrafts, woodcarving, knives, folk costumes and a particularly fine collection of florally-painted wooden articles. Open all year, every day 11.00 - 18.00 during the summer.
- Amot:
an exhibiton of 60 lithographs by Harald Kihle is housed on the first floor of the Sjparebanken Nor in Åmot andis open during the bank's opening hours.
