The jewel in Rjukans crown must be the frozen waterfall climbing on offer, this area has the greatest concentration of frozen waterfalls in Europe, climbers from across the world come every year to experience this unique venue.
Over 140 frozen waterfalls along the valley walls waiting to be explored!!

Climbs include single pitch waterfalls, technical climbs on both pure ice and mixed routes to multi pitch monsters which will satisfy all from beginner to the most hardened of Ice Climbers.
Rjukan hosts an Ice Climbing Festival each year in the last weekend in February, attracting international recognition from climbers across the grades.
